Anna Silk

Anna Silk was born in January 1974. The most famous role she has played is Bo in the Showcase's Lost Girl television series. Silk was born Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada. Ilkay is the producer and director of the drama at St. Thomas University, is Silk's mother. Silk's father Peter, was an academic. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna remembers some of her earliest memories of childhood, like taking part in rehearsals of plays. Silk was a part of numerous commercials for children. The Bachelor in Arts was conferred by St. Thomas University, 1997. Theatre St. Thomas staged at least 2 early plays: Seven Menus & The Kitchen. Silk moved in Toronto to pursue her acting career in order to progress, and then moved to Los Angeles California. She met her new husband, Seth Cooperman, at an acting training held in Los Angeles in 2007. The couple was engaged in 2009, and then married at a civil ceremony that was held in December. Following her conversion to Judaism, they renewed their wedding vows at the Jewish ceremony on the 10th of April 2011 in Fredericton. Silk got a baby that was named Samuel Jerome Cooperman on May 13 2013. Her second son Levi Aaron was born on the 13th of May in 2016. Silk is a variety of roles on television, among them Cassidy Holland from Being Erica. The actress was nominated to win an award called the Gemini in 2009 for this role. She landed a principal role as Bo Dennis, a succubus, on the television show Lost Girl. Silk was pregnant while filming of the season's third finale episode. She announced the pregnancy to the fans in an episode of the Showcase pre-show Season Three special on January 6 2013. Silk revealed via Twitter, on the 20th of June, 2013 that production had begun on Season 4. On 4 June 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures confirmed the start of Production for Season 4, which will air in the fourth season. CNN Cable News Network named Bo, along with Lauren Zoie Palmer as the couples with identical sexuality in Lost Girl to be one of the top television Couples of all time. E! Magazine declared them Top Television Couples of 2013 Entertainment Television. Due to the popularity of the show, Silk has earned a significant internet following via social media.
