A glittering career sometimes hides some of the darkest stories beneath. Lolo Jones, the winner of both USA championships as well as the World Champion in hurdles is able to reach her present place with much effort and a huge amount of perseverance. Jones experienced a tough childhood as she was the sole child of a mother within a large household. Her mother had been constantly changing her location and she was a resident at the bottom of her home. Jones had to be moved to a different school each during her time in high school due to this sporadic lifestyle. Jones was separated from her parents at Theodore Roosevelt to pursue the track and field. Jones stayed in four houses during her highschool years in order to study in one place. Jones was awarded an award called the Gatorade track and field athlete of the Year award while in high school. As a student cellist, Jones was also part of her school's school orchestra. Jones at the time she was going to college, was regarded as one of best hurdlers. She was the winner of the 100-meter hurdle at the 2002 NCAA Track & Field Championship. Additionally, she was a part of the team which placed 2nd in the 100 meters relay. Jones was the NCAA champion in indoor hurdler in both the year 2003 as well as 2014. Jones started her career with the year 2005, after she finished her bachelor's degree. Jones began training to prepare for a career in track. Jones was the winner of Torino Memorial in 2005, and also Ostrava and Heusden tracks events the following year.
The family was raised and born in Cape Town South Africa Brandt immigrated with her family to Auckland New Zealand in her early teens. Discovered by local casting directors Brandt assumed the character as Naevia on the Starz smashes Spartacus: Blood and Sand and Spartacus: Gods of the Arena. She was among the breakout stars for this series, working with Steven S. D Knight and Sam Raimi. Mazikeen is a Vertigo/DC Comics role model who appeared on the hit Netflix series Lucifer. The show ran for 6 years. Lucifer went on the break the record of binge viewing and was named as the best series to binge in 2021 according to Forbes. Brandt's next appearance is in an episode of six in the Walking Dead spin-off in 2024, opposite Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurrira. Brandt also appears alongside Jason Ritter Anthony Carrigan Chris Meloni and Chris Meloni as Captain Fall in an adult animated film to be released by Netflix on July 20, 2023. Lesley Ann Brandt born in Cape Town South Africa on December 2nd 1981. She is one talented New Zealander actor. Lesley Brandt along with the rest of her family relocated into Auckland New Zealand, in 1999. In Auckland, Brandt began as sales representative and was later made an IT consultant. Lesley has appeared in several commercial ads after several modelling projects. She graduated with a major in acting in the year 2008. Then in 2009, she started studying in Meisner Methods of Study. Lesley Brandt's very first noteworthy actor role was on the TV drama Diplomatic Immunity, which aired in New Zealand. Lesley Brandt appeared in the New Zealand drama Shortland Street, as a visitor supporting character. In the following season, she was in the sci-fi action thriller This Is Not My Life that is based upon anecdotal Waimoana. Lesley Brandt played Naevia in the series Spartacus: Blood and Sand. Later, she played the role in Spartacus: Gods of the Arena.
