Srushti Deshmukh has started to prepare for the UPSC entrance in her third year of her engineering degree. Following her graduation, she was unsure whether or not she would enjoy a career in engineering position. Then she realized the dream job she wanted was in civil service and began to concentrate on this. The parents of her encouraged her to pursue civil service and pursue an employment in the public sector. Her motivation never waned and was focused on her goal of becoming an IAS. For UPSC to be achieved it is more work required. She also prepared for UPSC exams while taking engineering classes. Everyday she carved out the time to study for exams. In just one and a half months, she passed her engineering tests, but stayed clear of any social interaction. The reason she believes in concentration and focus are crucial for success in the exam to be a government official. She worked hard to ensure she passed the test in the first try. Daily, she would read the newspapers to stay abreast on the current news. She also got a lot of support online by collecting various study materials and taking in Rajya Sabha TV. IAS Srushti Deskmukh Book IAS Srushti Deskmukh wrote and published a book called The Answer Writing Manual. The book is available at any library in the nation.
